Allegedly NBC didn't like her performing at the DNC as it alienated viewers & the Republican viewers would associate Rise with the DNC, so they didn't play Rise as much as they were going to ALLEGEDLY
Olympics is about unity, she signed a deal to give them exclusive song and later used it to tell the world that Hillary Clinton will still rise alienating half of the country, it was a career suicide honestly and I don't blame NBC
Now that Rise didn't take off I guarantee you the alberm is coming Q4. The label would not let her wait any longer and even if it's not ready they will just make her record a bunch of half-assed demos (a second half of PRISM tea) in a week.
It's just not realistic.gif she's releasing this year. She's lost, still hasn't defined the sound she wants for the alberm. Winter 2016 would obviously be the best but its just not going to happen. First sing and album both in february with Grammy and Brit performances is her last chance.
Feel like it's kinda already too late for her to salvage her career to be honest (she'll be 32 in a few months and her last 2 sings bombed on radio) but she definitely does need to release ASAP to salvage what's left of it
