It really just dawned on me though, and the fact that I love the show (but I haven't watched for some time) and it's been on for so long is crazy.

I really hope they convert seasons 1-12 to blu-ray because I hate when shows have half of their seasons in SD and the other in HD and make the boxset all SD

I'm so sorry guys but my brain is going hard right now and I need to get this out, I LOVE Seth MacFarlane and what he's done with his shows. I plan to get all of The Cleveland Show DVDs and American Dad/Family Guy now should I wait until Family Guy and American Dada end and get the boxsets or start collecting now?

QaF could get a bit self righteous and preachy, but overall it was good.

I am just surprised that no one has launched a truly high quality drama with major LGBT characters though

American Dad is about to end. I'm guessing they're going to have 1 or 2 seasons on TBS but I think you should wait because you can get them for a better price.

I honestly never seen any of those, except a bit of Futurama and Simpsons (the move. ).

I mostly pander towards anime. Like Naruto, Pokemon, Death Note.
I do watch a lot of USA Network and ABC Family shows though.

I'm sure they will eventually remodel 1-12. They redesigned all the Futurama seasons and released them on Blu-Ray.

They really might have to do volumes though

Volume 1: Seasons 1-10
Volume 2: Seasons 11-20
Volume 3: Seasons 21-30

But then most people would just buy Volume 1

NOOOOO, I think American Dad will last on TBS but on the real it should've been on Adult Swim and not TBS but I digress

And I just searched Family Guy + American Dad and the earlier volumes of the DVD releases have half episodes from one season and half from another

It's best I wait for the complete series as you said

That's just my guess. They're moving to TBS to make room for more shows on FOX so I'm guessing they're not going to last much longer, sadly. It's the second best cartoon on atm.

I watched some anime as a kid. Pokemon, Digimon, Card Captors, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc.

When I rewatch them as an adult they are soooooo bad



As for the comedies I mentioned. I don't watch any of them on a day to day basis. However, sometimes I am in the mood and will sit down and marathon a season or two.
