And there was barely any amount of time for the song to hype. So sure, it hasn't reached #1, but that's also because MLJ is a huge hit right now, with around 130AI which was where OG and S&M peaked! so of course that song's going to be #1
If anything, be proud at the fact that it has passed Somone Like You and stayed there considering that song is getting 3+ mil updates everyday, and managed to reached #1 on the hot 100 before it was even released as a single, and Rih is above it!
and It's top 5 in how many countries? not to mention top 15 in every country it's released in.......So yes you can state your opinion, but think before hand so it doesn't sound like it wasn't thought out.

I can't at your flop asses saying that WFL is flopping. It's #2 in the US with no promo and no hype, only assisted by an iTunes banner competing against a song that's had buzz from The Voice, has HUGE radio AI right now. The song itself is incredible and it's doing great on iTunes. Not many songs blast to #1 without hype. Deal with it, Navy, she's a huge popstar but she's not Jesus.

I really like the single, but I was hoping for something else.
I knew she was going to dwell further into electronica, but judging by her new look and that shoot she did (GQ I think) with earth and so, I thought that she would go for a tribal/jungle dance music.

So I played this for more friends last night (if you recall, the last 2 people I played it for said "it could be sung by anyone", "nothing special", etc.) at a camping party. And the results? One friend was unsure who was singing, despite being a fan of Rihanna (  ), and the others kinda swayed a little bit before one of them requested we change the song.
I will admit though, I think it sounds better in a good car speaker system than on my computer, and I enjoyed it a little more than the last 5 times I listened to it. Maybe it's just a slow-grower, it might just be getting there.
