i actually really like katy b's album. it's impressively cohesive considering every track is a collab with a different artist.

I also enjoyed PJ harvey's album on fifth second listen. It's not as good as her last but still good

2015 was okay. Nowhere near as high of quality as released as 2014 (Ultraviolence and I Never Learn set the bar SO high) but it was still decent. 2016 has kinda sucked but we will see the return of UGODTA so hopefully it will be worth it.

I'm talking about releases though. Obviously this is one of the worst years when it comes to music legends. (thankfully one of them delivered AOTY before passing away).

I think you're using Gaga as a baseline since she used to do these larger than life launches.

Beyoncé is not Gaga. Not every artist who takes risks/makes power moves is Gaga'd in their approach.
