There's no double standard. It's just subjective because we've drawn a rather vague line as to what is allowed and what isn't. We wanted people to still have a bit of freedom when choosing their avatar. However, if members keep pushing it we might have to copy UKMIX and ban shirtless men and half naked women altogether. It'd be much easier to moderate.

It seems if little monsters are upset with any independently reported bad news about Germanotta they can just report it, derail it with personal attacks and then get a legitimate thread closed. Totally unfair.

Regarding sexual avatars and pictures that are posted on the site, I always go by the rule "if my parents were in my bedroom, looking over my shoulder at the screen, or if I was at uni in a lecture and the person behind me could see my screen, would I be comfortable with them seeing it?"

And if the answer is no, I put it in warning tags. I never go on ATRL at Uni for this reason though. And it has nothing to do with being gay or having photos of hot guys pop up. It's hot girls too. I don't want anyone at Uni thinking I'm looking up softcore **** between classes.

Not at all. I share my opinions, just like everyone else on here. If people agree with me then that's cool. We have similar thoughts and maybe I've articulated an opinion that they didn't know they had or didn't think of. If they disagree with me then that's even better because it means I can have an engaging discussion and debate someone.
