Shonda Rhimes needs to become more closely involved in this show. She knows how to develop storylines. I know she's a part of it, but obviously not enough because this season was seriously lacking in places. The finale didn't feel like a finale at all.

Well, she's only a producer and hasn't written any eps. Peter Nowalk is the showrunner and wrote both premieres and finales.

Exactly. She needs to help write the episodes. HTGAWM shouldn't be this stale in Season 2. I mean, she kept Grey's Anatomy interesting for season after season. There's so many places they could go with this show, but it just seemed lost for half of the Season.

He killed Mahoney to keep the truth from coming out cause it would expose so many things if Wes told his father about Anna Mae.

The reason the 2nd half of the season was so lame is because Shonda Rhimes suggested the storyline for the first episode of the 2nd half, Peter listened, and they had to develop a storyline around that. Shonda needs to stand clear of writing on this show.

Season 1 > season 2. I hope season 3 they break up the game and add a character to her interns to bring some spice to the table as well as go in the direction where they're not the ones in the middle of a mess. I want them to work on a HUGE case like rape.

Well, that was disappointing. I mean, the fall finale was tons better than the actual season finale itself.

The second half of the season also was mediocre. The first half was awesome, but then it just dissipated as the second half started to begin, I guess.

Here's to hoping Season 3 will be much better and up to S1's level, tbh.

Walter was behind the car accident that killed Annalise's baby. When she said "he's gotta go", she meant Walter. Of course she had Frank do it because that's what he does, and after she found out he killed Lila and not Sam, he now owed her a favor.

I agree that Walter was behind the car accident, that's obvious, but Annaliese did not have Frank kill him, when she says "he's gotta go" she meant she doesn't want Frank around her anymore, I'm pretty sure she doesn't want to see his face, which i'm sure will then change when she needs him for something, like dealing with Wes running to her saying that his dad was killed infront of him etc etc.

I don't think she figured out that Frank put the listening device in her room. Think about it, if she thought Sam killed Lila, then in her mind, Frank wasn't a killer as he hadn't killed anyone. Framed Catherine? Yes. Now that she knows Frank killed Lila, she's using that to make him kill Walter. Her saying "where is Frank?" And then "he needs to go?" was in reference to Frank going and killing Walter. I don't think she knew anything about Frank being tied to the car accident.

Unless Bonnie told her in a voicemail or something.

Or perhaps Frank left and did it on his own accord to rid himself of the guilt.

C'mon Annaliese isn't a fool, ofcourse she knows Frank is capable of murder, but she didn't order the hit on Walter. I'm not saying Frank didn't do it, that may as well have been the case, but seeing how shook she was when she & Frank found Rebecca in the basement, she wouldn't ask Frank to kill someone directly. That would put her on the same level as Sam, asking someone to kill someone else to deal with an issue.

That whole hapstall trial was a fking waste of time... The makers think they are too clever by giving all these twists but the ultimate reveal is so cliché ... In the first episode itself, we'd know that Caleb was the possible killer... Second they never ever showed Caleb s true side... Anyone could have killed him in the bath tub...
