Quite frankly, I attribute the rise of Justin Bieber (and Trey Songz in the urban crowd) to the temporary fall of Chris Brown. Him being Public Enemy No. 1 back then (aside from Kanye) left that dancing/singing/sexy heartthrob spot open wide.
