The Praise for Queen Madison!!!
Entertainment Weekly: "The best and most complete miniseries belonged entirely to Madison Montgomery"
Quote:
Other characters on the show existed in the quantum phase of Ryan Murphy narrative, forever vacillating between wild extremes: Delia and Fiona hate each other, develop a grudging respect for each other, try to kill each other, love each other. But consider Madison. When we met her, she was a spoiled-brat starlet. Then something terrible happened to her: Raped by fratboys, a goddess demeaned into a victim. She sought vengeance, and in the process damned herself: Killing her rapists, she also killed a good boy who never did anything wrong. For her crimes she received karmic punishment: death at the hands of Fiona, her corpse used as a masturbatory toy doll for the proverbial Weird Dude In The Attic.
But then, twist! Brought back from the beyond, she spoke of a terrible darkness. You got the sense that she was the kind of girl who found a kind of heaven in hell, who only felt really good when she was doing bad things -- so it made sense that her infinite punishment would be the absence of anything, a terrible quiet beyond even the pleasure of pain. Back from the dead, she found herself healed. Her broken heart was fixed. She fell in love with a boy: The same boy she had killed, in fact.
But the boy loved someone else. And so, having fallen and then risen, Madison fell once again: Jealousy led to rage led to ambition led to all-consuming desire. Her power grew with her desire. She killed one witch, Misty Day -- the very witch who brought her back to life. And when it came time to prove herself, her romantic rival proved weak. Madison stared down at the face of the girl who ruined her second life. She had the power to bring Zoe back. She refused. And so she was damned all over again. The power in her grasp -- which could have been hers if only she had committed a single selfless act -- faded away.
Left with nothing, she took the only logical step you can take when your whole life has fallen in on itself. She planned to start over. She packed her bag. The boy she loved demanded to know why she let his true love die. She told him: "I love you! I love you, please!" He looked at her with cold eyes: "You're not that good an actress." And he strangled her, sending her back to the darkness that was always her home. Her soul was gone, if she ever had one. Her body would be bequeathed to Spalding, a human doll once again.

This season slayed, i wish they did a spinoff season cuz Coven could literally be its own show with about 5 seasons.

One thing I hated the most about the ending was Cordelia going public about the witches. It was really unrealistic and dumb. Witches are meant to be kind of mysterious and a secret, and people would see her as a nutcase and probably burn down the house.
ALSO
They cut Zoe's little speech when they have dinner! In the trailer for the final episode you can hear her talking about how she found her family, soulmate and whatnot. UGH

I was still so disappointed with the lack of male witches. The show was kind of sexist in my opinion. The men where all useless or weak.

I loveed it! My favorite season. They really should think if doing a spin off of the coven. I'm tired of vampires and wolves we need something centered around witches again.

I was hoping Luke would be a witch/warlock and his mom knew about it and moved next door to get help if needed

As pathetic as it may sound mine would probably be really similar to Zoe's. I'm an emotional wreck and I went through a really hard time with a breakup once with this guy who would play mind games.

I agree
Male witches would have been a really great addition. Both gay and straight, maybe one of each
I wish this season was longer or had a continuation. Witchcraft has been an obsession of mine since childhood and it sucks knowing It probably won't be revisited ever again.

The season finale was great, Misty Day deserved to be the next Supreme, Fiona was scary as hell!
Overall, i loved this season, but it was too weird, it lacks of mistery like Murder House or Asylum.
Asylum >> Murder House >> Coven
can't wait for next season, Sarah Paulson said that she will be back with a great character.

A show about witches included something unrealistic? Wow, what a shocker.

HMMM.. For me it was OK. But expected a lot more.
Cordelia beeing the Supreme was fine but not unexpected at all.
Hated the witches "coming out of the closet" style, to the world. It seemed like gays 2.0
The worst thing for me (PLEASE tell me if you agree) was that it was a HAPPY ending. This is American HORROR Story, at the end I was expecting Fiona to stab Cordelia or something, it was TOO good. Myrtle burning again ridiculous... For me is a 7/10

I needed a twist ending. It was so straightforward and boring.

I was waiting for Fiona to stab Cordelia at the end but I'm glad that she didn't. She finally showed some love towards her daughter and for me the moment would have been ruined if Fiona tried to kill her. It was also sad when Fiona was asking for her daughter whilst in hell.
