Attack her on the issues which he did brilliantly in 2015. You don't go for a character assassination in a primary. That's too divisive. Things he could have went for instead:
- Her senate voting record
- Her foreign policy decisions
- Her current policies
Don't go for her character and start attacking her for nonsense like Wall St speeches and donors as if this is a general election and you have to win at all costs.

In a primary, it is. Any self-respecting democrat knows that. You're supposed to make it possible for your followers to support the winning candidate. That's why she conceded early and called for unity behind Obama in 2008 during the DNC despite that being a very bitter primary (based on policy though)

It wasn't the right thing either but she also attacked him for his pro-fracking stance and told him "shame on you" etc. That's what you do. You fight on policy and senate votes not Wall St speeches and donors and character. I didn't say Bernie has to praise her. But bringing up something like the superpredator quote mid-debate was a terrible thing to do. She didn't bring up his Castro praise mid-debate and she didn't challenge him on his lack of achievements on stage.

Bernie took her worst issue, the emails, off the table. He only really got annoyed because of the shonky way the primary was being run. Debates on Saturday nights, Debbie W-S's corruption, etc. It is rich to act like Hillary is the victim in all this. She wrote Bernie off so much she didn't mention his name for the first 4 or 5 months of the campaign in an effort to not legitimize him.

He didn't take the emails issue off the table. It's easy for him to get brownie points for saying people are tired of it but the press were hammering her on it enough as it was. It's not like he had any power over that. You're acting like he ended the scandal when he knows he benefited from it (Which isn't his fault. It's hers and the media's)

They're not fuming. I just saw The Young Turks' smugness and it pissed me off and that triggered this debate. Hillary shouldn't have been the nominee, she was a week candidate, mired in scandal, and was the antithesis of what Americans inside and outside of the Democratic base wanted to see. All Bernie did was point out this obvious fact and provide an alternative. If you want to cling to her average approval ratings as Senator and Secretary of State to delude yourself into believing she wasn't one of the most hated politicians in US history, that's your prerogative I guess - but anybody who thinks logically will recognize that the election was lost the second that Hillary was nominated
