because god forbid they try to build an actual party! as opposed to just running someone for president every 4 years for ***** and giggles.
It's basically impossible to bring in new parties in the two party US system. The greens are always going to struggle in the US compared with other countries where winning 5 or 10% of the vote can give you some actual power. Look at the hate they get for taking away support from the democrats, in other countries they would be able to form a coalition government and work together.
Of course. But they also want someone they also believe in. Why do you think so many of Bernie's supporters had a hard time getting on board with Clinton? It's why a lot of conservatives had a hard time coming around to Romney at first because he flip flopped on a lot of his views in order to appeal to conservatives. This isn't exclusive to this election. This sentiment has always been around.
.
Don't complicate this. They didn't believe in her because they chose not to believe in her.
Right. I didn't notice the guy up until the Instagram post. And I actually paused it then cause I was confused. Then i played it and it made sense.
I understand the sentiment, but something like that would be impossible to dectect in Idaho, where we value gun rights, with stereotyping every white male. d
The Green Party will never survive the Nader karma. Green candidates run on the basis that both candidates are equally bad and Nader made that almost his slogan and we've all see how disastrous that turned out to be vs a Gore presidency. So now people are weary of them and would rather vote libertarian despite the platform having nothing liberal on it besides the Marijuana laws.
