What are your opinions to this Remix; despite the other artist lol?
Love it, been on iTunes these past days listening to it. They could do a CUTE song together, idgaf what y'all say.
Ariana sounds so much like Mariah in this key.
But "The Way" is my favorite song that came out this year (with #Beautiful as a close second :keir) and think it's a great tribute to Mariah. Especially since people always complain she doesn't get enough recognition.

I also have a special place for Rainbow in my heart .. first full Mariah album that I lsned to <<3 .. I used to discover those Rainbow gems on my way to school!!
The run at the end of Mariah's Theme is what made me decide to listen to the full song .. then the album .. and now Mariah has 18k lsns in my lastfm .. only known her for 18 months ..
and I average about 1200 Mariah listens a month .. and some other lessor talents ;p
Can't Take That Away is the song for me that when I first listened to her Greatest Hits cd think "omg I need to listen to her discography"
Well, that and Bye Bye which was ROBBED of that #1 spot!!
Does anyone know why Bye Bye flopped?
No bay,don't give credit to the Greatest Hits album, because "Can't Take That Away"(Mariah's theme) Is originally from Godbow.

BTW Bye Bye flopped because it was simply a rehash of We Belong Together,which is funny because she released another rehash later that era with ISIL. Bye Bye is touching,but nowhere near as moving for me as " One Sweet Day". Also structurally the song was VERY similar to WBLT

That's one thing that pisses me TF off about Mimi. She's so stiff nowadays,and it kinda takes away from her use- to -be awesome stage presence. I mean don't get me wrong ,I know(and we all know) Mariah was never the best dancer or had THE best performing skils,but she had some rhythm,and when she tried it was cute and still entertaining. Not only that but even when she did stop doing full choreo,she would pose and vogue for her life ( See It'ls Like that Video and performances)
Now it's like ..I don't know..sometimes it feels like the life has been sucked outta of her stage presence.I noticed a big change in her confidence in 2008,that's when she was REALLY stiff.She loosened up a bit for Memoirs era,but not a lot.
She's improving now though. She looks more comfortable on stage
Oh and one more thing....something else that REALLY HAS TO ****ING GO is that damn white lounge chair. I hate It when she lounges and sings(It's okay sometimes). The shyt like what she pulled @ GMA couple of weeks back makes her look unprofessional,and lately she's been all over the place with her performances as far as the visual aspects and what not. I mean as Lambs of course we know her antics and what not,and I even find it adorable (at times),but the GP and critics will start to tear her apart.
Vocally she sounds great,but all the technical problems,ear monitors, malfunctions and shyt.. IT NEEDS TO STOP! We haven't had any good performances so far this era(save for the Aussie concerts)
Srry for ranting,but Had to get that off my boobs...
She's usually good on award shows,and has a lot of rest leading up to it.
I hope she premieres the # Beautiful remix with Miguel,that or a Medley(not like AI though )
