There successful chimera could maybe be Liam? They injected his stuff into the tank where the goo comes from. Maybe they decided to add onto from a werewolf instead of a human. Though it will probably be a new character they haven't revealed or Danny. Danny had a surgery and is probably got some chimera stuff going on, and it would explain where the **** he was lately.

Danny and Ethan share a room on a Cross Country Team trip. While making out, Ethan notices some surgical scars on Danny's torso. He asks him if he would like it if they could go away (hinting at but not mentioning the effects of an Alpha bite). Danny says the scars make him feel like a survivor.

The actor who plays Danny (Keahu Kahuanui) actually has a leather crafting business and he helped make the Dread Doctors masks, so he does have a reason to be on set other than acting. Though it is posible he is coming back

After this last episode I am thinking it could be Mason, after he and Corey kissed, Corey had a strange look on his face people were hypothesizing that Corey sensed something supernatural about Mason

Though with how often Sydney is popping up I wouldnt be surprised if it was her though I think she has already been ruled out.

Same. This episode did seem like a filler, but I think that's because we're all desperate to find out who the beast is.

Also, after re-watching this season, it's actually pretty solid, the only bad thing is the acting/writing at some points.

My bets are on Mason - especially after his little speech about not wanting to be on the side of the bad guys when he was talking to Corey.

During the finale, the Beast is reported to be running around and attacks the school in the beginning, and its presence isn't mentioned again for the rest of the episode. Mason doesn't show up until the next night when Melissa is taking care of Hayden.

Now let's look at any info given in the past couple two episodes:

Episode 12: "It's not a Chimera." - Theo

Epsiode 13: "The kid underneath, it's just a side effect. It probably doesn't know it turns back to human back during the day." - Theo

It's heavily implied that whoever is the beast is a regular human kid, and so far we have not seen Mason and the Beast interacting with anyone else during the same time of day. Also, he's recieved plenty of development this season, which can make the reveal more shocking / emotional for the audience and the main characters.

With that said, we're only 3 episodes in with this mystery so it might change depending on the information they give. As of right now though, my money is on Mason.

Mason is definitely a strong contender for the beast, though if the dread doctors want the beast to transform as much as possible (to get stronger), surely that would mean every night, whereas Mason was there the night they rescued Lydia from Eichen House.

But I'm just speculating. I'd be happy if Mason was the beast.

It's not her she was sitting next to Hayden. The beast actually came out from the school buses, which Mason was located.
