fringe is cute, try that. it's kinda really procedural, monster-of-the-week-y as it starts but a main overarching plot develops soon.
EDIT: Oh, and Orphan Black might also be worth checking out? I've only seen the first half of season 1 but it was an enjoyable watch.
I watched a few episodes of Fringe but it felt kind of like X-Files redux but with a less likable cast. Orphan Black was cute from the few episodes I watched ages ago. I guess I can try getting back into that.
