If we still lived in an age without internet I could've moved on from her by now. At this point it's just depressing. We've seen her perform the same songs that many times we probably know her breathing techniques now.

There were a number of things that caused Warrior to underperform:

- No official second single pre-release (should of been Last Goodbye)
- The shooting at Sandyhook
- The album cover (you know its true, it was ****ing hideous)
- C'mon being pushed to radio too early
- C'mon even being a single (even though its a bop it belonged in 2010/11
- Crazy Kids getting a will.i.am verse
- Kesha saying she was forced to sing Die Young
- The music scene was continually changing dramatically

Agreed. Plus December is a terrible month to release with all the Xmas stuff coming out. I've always seen her as a summer artist tbh.

Even though Die Young was doing really well, the song was generic af, but if we are going to do the 'what ifs' and 'should haves' I would of kept it as the lead single because it did really well up until the incident. Last Goodbye or Only Wanna Dance With You (with the original verses) should of been the second single and from there it should of been Crazy Kids and Thinking of You; and maybe Supernatural if they edited the verses a bit. The era had so much potential.

The shooting didn't do that much for Die Young except shorten its time on the Hot 100. The song had already reached its peak and wouldn't have hit #1, let's not be delusional.

And the Warrior era was bound to flop regardless

Thinking about Warrior just makes me depressed. Our girl had so much potential and even tho Warrior wasn't the album she wanted to make, it's still such a great pop album, and most of the **** the next gen of pop girls are releasing simply can't hold a candle to it. Definitely robbed of her success.

Even though her career is kinda over now, if Warrior had slayed and she had no reason to go against Luke, she might be in an even worse situation. She might have pulled a Simone Battle.

I remember a member in charts had predicted Die Young to hit #1 with chart point estimates the week of the shooting but since it got immediately pulled from radio by X amount of stations, that was the difference.

But yes, Kesha is/was unfortunately a singles artist so the album wouldn't have done well without at least 2 really big singles out before it. Releasing in December was kinda stupid. Funny how 85k first week sales is "doing well" these days tho.

She's been incredibly brave, and some things are worth more than fame and money - aka your own dignity and wellbeing. I'm so glad Kesha seems to be so healthy and taken care of, and she has the support from her peers which means a lot.

It must've been so hard for the first year when no one but her fans was speaking out.
