I was listening to the biggest radio station in my area and they played "Stars". It don't end abruptly like the album version though but instead with the beat break. The radio host said "That was 'Stars' by Demi Lovato from her new album Confident. Of course she has had two big hits from it already and that will probably be a third one."
So its kinda confirmed its the third single (?)
Guys this radio station has been right two times before and wrong once regarding single releases so who really knows.
The were right when they played "Dark Horse" a few weeks after "Unconditionally" came out and said it would be the next single from Prism.
Also another situation regarding Demi they played "Neon Lights" a few days after Demi's release and the radio host said something like "word on the street has it that will be a single in the future."
However one time they were wrong is before Taylor announced "Out of the Woods" as the next single they played "New Romantics" and said it would be the next single. This was a similar situation to "Stars" though as some you fellow Swifies may recall them playing "New Romantics" on a few radio stations and public places.
Yeah, the writer (who comes off kinda snobby) made a joke about people thinking Demi recorded the song and the producer flat out told a fan on SC that the song would not sound better with Demi's vocals. smh. So I'm glad that Demi didn't record it, though it wasn't even offered to her in the first place.
But some of y'all criticizing Stars as a single want Stone Cold instead
Probably because Stone Cold is a great ballad, Grammy worthy and doesn't sound like her vocals had to go through several fixing in order to be at least decent for a deluxe track.
- An amazing music Video
- Ellen Show Perfomance
- Kelly & Michael Perfomance
- iHeart Radio Music Awards perfomance
- American Idol Perfomance
- The Late show with James Corden
This would make Stone Cold smash the charts!!
A Grammy perfomance would really help but I would not happen
