Exactly. Cheers is giving me IGAF teas. Such a timeless song And to think, her label SRP kept saying CKB (ballads) will sell album. It ruined Loud's momentum.
But remember that CKB had also many radio adds before the adds date! So we shoudn't be so sure that it will smash no matter what. I hope that in October we won't sing Cheers to the flopping weekend :-D
Yeah, but they screwed up CKB's release. Cheers actually has a good adds date. The big stations are picking it up and unlike CKB, Cheers is the type of song stations can (and probably will) put in power rotation. CKB peaked on z100's playlist and they dropped it. I don't think they'll do the same with Cheers.
Edit: Plus Cheers will get Rhythmic airplay so unlike CKB it'll get bigger AI updates. CKB was just a terrible choice really. She can't release ballads that aren't Urban influenced because she clearly does not get the HAC support.

yes, that's why fading would have been a better choice. Fading is also a better song in my opinion
