Yeah but you have to remember that some people went to Johnson/Stein and Nader costing them many states which means that there was an unusually high number of people voting against the old faces.

96% of people who viewed Hillary favorably voted for her while 77% of the ones who viewed Donald unfavorably voted for her. 95% of people who viewed Trump favorably voted for him while 81% of people who viewed Hillary unfavorably voted for Trump. So, the election wasn't much a "lesser evil" on the Hillary side. People who viewed her as the lesser of the two evils either don't exit (very unlikely) or didn't go out and vote as much as the other side. It also shows that actual voters actually liked the candidates.

First off, I live (well, used to before college, but my parents are still therE) in the district that Tom Price represents. However, I was in middle school when he came to my house for a breakfast for the organization my dad was a chair on. I'm not really sure if I really met him or not (I think I did), but he was there and they were talking about some policy with Iran since the organization is a group representing Iranian-Americans. So there was that.

THEN, fast track a few years later when I'm a senior in high school in 2013. I was lucky enough to go to Obama's second inauguration in DC with some people in my school. It was FREEZING. One day, we got to go to Congressman Price's office where he sat with us for 20 minutes and talked about Georgia and tried to relate to us. We got to ask some questions, but I never mentioned that he went to my house. One, because he probably doesn't remember since politicians do a lot of random things, and two, I didn't want to draw any attention to myself since I was one of the few liberals in a sea of conservatives (I went to a Catholic school when none of my family was Catholic).

So, yeah, I met Tom Price. Honestly, he was a pretty nice guy. He's obviously a politician, so I don't really know his true colors, but he's not some awful person. He was a doctor before, so I guess that's part of the reason why he was chosen for the position. However, I don't agree with his views on abortion at all. I'm just hoping that he'll do fine and won't be crazy. And I'm really hoping that his replacement isn't awful either

If they were new (or decided to run some years after the Democrat lost the White House), they would've won by a bigger margin ensuring their Electoral College lead as well as the popular vote.

I truly believe had it been Trump v. *Insert Democrat* and Trump won, Hillary would've been perfect for 2020 or 2024.

If Hillary flipped even one state (Michigan), the whole process will be in question. Trump might still win, but his mandate and vitality as the winner would haunt him for the rest of his presidency.

I don't think it will. I was responding to a "what if" she did flip.

IF she did flip a state, who really knows what would happen. Would a recount of every state happen? Would the Electoral College decide it's the perfect time to pick the one with the popular vote lead and a higher favorability? It's something I don't expect in 2016, but who knows if something like this would happen in future elections.
