It was the best thing they could do. Any single after Skyscraper would have been overshadowed by LYLALS and potentially prematurely ended the era. They gave Demi the spotlight and attention in January and the months forward and they were able to relaunch an era effortlessly.

If you look at it that way they saved themselves the $$$$ They probably didnt want to spend too much on promo for both artists, lets not forget they were STILL trying to make Joe Jonas happen


And the whole **** up with WTB scheduled to release and DEV getting pregnant, they should have changed the single straight away rather than waiting so long before they did. That was lousy decision making.

Dev was supposed to be the next big thing though. They were only trying to keep up with what's trending by releasing a single featuring Dev and capitalizing on the success of another act. It would have been ingenious on their part had the song not been so terrible.

Yeah the early critics seemed to love it. I'm not sure if i'll like it, but there was another movie that Selena shot/will shoot that sounded interesting, i forgot its name though

Spring Breakers has always sounded pretty terrible to me, but I'll probably catch it when it comes out next Spring because it's supposed to be her breakout.
