It's so insane that VOTING RIGHTS are such a huge (and underreported) issue. Like, the right to vote is literally the founding principle of our government. Every legal adult should be able to vote, no restrictions.



But I guess it's easier to suppress voters than it is to change your platform to convince them to vote for you!

This **** will come back to bite them eventually. They spending all this time trying to do this stuff but not actually trying to get voters on their sides. doubt it. i think ohio is gone too unless someone really energizes the dem areas and/or trump royally ****s over the "white working class "

Tbh if Michigan and Wisconsin were to flip to Hillary then the door really opens for these electoral college voters to cause a huge mess... Incredibly unlikely but let's just think about it for a second.

They might not even have to flip to Hillary to cause a mess. If 11 were to not vote for Trump when they should have then he's under 270 and suddenly another person is in the running to be president through a House vote. That'd be an insane number of faithless electors but then this has been an insane electoral cycle.

If they voted for Romney or Ryan or even damn Gary what a meltdown the country would have in that period

Tbh America should start merging some of these states and cut down on their senators.

Like.. do you really need a North AND a South Dakota? Fuse Wymoing, Idaho and Montana into one super-state called hicksville and there, Republican senators will drop by like 6 and the elections will slay again.

Also split California up into North and South California.. it's getting large enough that a split could be warranted

There's still some hope for Ohio. They have a decent amount of business going on and can retain their younger population.

I am envisioning a bizarro 2040 map where Texas goes blue to demographics but Iowa and Wisconsin go red.

People always say Ohio and Iowa will never go blue again, but the truth is they will. Ohio, especially, switches every 8 years. Rural counties eventually get sick of the party in power.

They always get ****ed over by republicans and then eventually go back to the dems again.
