I really am still shocked that it didn't get a Grammy nominaton for Country Album. If you look at previous years nominations (Blake Shelton, Eric Church ) I thought it was a given Carrie would get one.

I think she'll only sweep at the Grammys, if she releases a Gospel album. She can win Country Gospel Album, Gospel Album, Gospel Song, Gospel Performance.

I hope she doesn't do a gospel album It'd be commercially unsuccessful since Gospel songs never perform well, it'd just seem like a big break.

I have to say Blown Away got boring fast for me. (Album)

It's far better than the mess that was her third album but her first two slay it to pieces. I only use BA, TBC and SYA tbh. And those were the three songs that stuck out to me in the beginning when I first heard it and I thought the rest of the album was filler.

So I can't speak about the other albums that were nominated instead of Carrie, but I can at least say that her album can't be leaps and bounds ahead of theirs, if at all.

Here for SYA to be the next single and cross promote it to pop then move to album #5

You don't stan for DYTAM or GIG? I'm judging you It's a great album, but I played it so much when it first came out that I don't listen to it much anymore

Blown Away (song) on its own is miles better than all the albums combined so...

SYA would be a weird single I could see it flopping. I'm here for DYTAM for single #4

And GIG is mediocre, IMO. But yeah, Blown Away (song) is one of her absolute best.

I can certainly understand why a lot people may not like Blown Away. My brother basically hates the first half of the album (More pop sounds) but loves Cupid and Leave Love Alone.

My friends only like the pop songs, and hates the rest.

It certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea, and when Carrie said she was going more experimental she certainly did. One Way Ticket is always a mix between extremely love or hate, and same with Good In Goodbye. It just depends on the person.
