I've never done University on TS3.

I think it is a pointless add on tbh. It's cool at first but hardly anyone ever uses it and just let's their Sims have negative growing up memories because they skipped college.

I gotta tell you, even with the fixed world, TS3 University is laggy as ****, in order to fully enjoy the "university experience" you have to get the lowest amount of points when you pick how long you will stay there.
The more you choose, the more studying you will have to do, it's a pain in the ass.

The new interactions are great but it didn't deliver like TS2 did.
Edit: You will see that many Sims only when you go to class because they will be stuck there.

In University I always kill all of the initial roommates via house fire and then lock all of the doors to the house so no more roommates can live with me after I redesign the dorm.

Sims 3 University downfall is that it is a little TOO realistic . It is definitely a challenge to balance your Sims's work life and school life if you have them do a bunch of credits at once. But I like the fact that you can follow them to lecture and some classes. I also like the new career options. And with mods it doesn't lag all too much (and I have all expansions).

And yes, it is annoying as hell when all the students try to enter the class at once and then everyone becomes stuck. But the same thing happens without Sims 3 University

I thought Sims 2 University was too easy and could get boring at times. I hope with the Sims 4 they could find a balance.

Sims 2 University is better IMO. You're actually able to get all your education done at once without having to go back.

Freetime and Apartment Life are my faves. They're just so great. Apartment Life is so innovative and different for a sims game. Season comes in 3rd as it is also just so different.

It's pretty sad when the modding community has to fix a game before they can play it
I'm hoping that we see less problems with The Sims 4.

Playing the Sims 2 UC and the fact it doesn't have any bugs is so weird.

The only thing I hated about Apartment Life was the fact that the backdrops to the houses look even more LQ than they were before.

Apartment Life is def one of my faves. Free Time was good as well but Seasons did more for me.

I was disappointed by TS3 Uni. It is a bit much, and doesn't feel like entertainment. I shouldn't feel like I'm in college TS2 Uni is a nice imitation of college.

I love when you go on dates in TS2 there is a bar to tell you how well your date is going. I hope they bring that back!

I had this cute lil plant on top of a fireplace while it was on even though my sims weren't there and a few minutes later, 6/8 rommates died in a fire or from starvation because they were too busy jumping around and of course, a shitload of sims that don't know the definition of "stay in your lane", stuck at my front door.
