It didn't come from white folks. It came from poor white folks who fell for Trump's false promises.

Also, people don't judge Hillary on her legislative standpoint they judge her on the men she worked with. Like with Obama, she was basically his employee. It doesn't mean her administration should mirror his nor does it mean she should diss his administration. She tried making universal healthcare a thing way before it was the cool thing to do; that's a socialist thing. She did great things for women and children as FL that first ladies usually don't achieve. All of her senate voting bills were pro-middle class rather than the rich and when Bernie became senator they voted the same 93% of the time. Yeah she gave Wall St speeches but she was SoS so it's not like she was giving them any inside scoop on the treasury (unlike the next administration). People think she's a centrist like her husband but she's always been way more left than he is. Not to mention if Bill wasn't a centrist, there would be no Democratic Party atm. He practically revived it from the ashes.

There's also her being demonized for being the only candidate with any clue about foreign policy in every debate stage she was on.

Bill and Hillary had to be centrist. I think Hillary naturally became much more pragmatic after her experiences, but she was progressive enough for me. Just 2 decades ago, people like Bill and Hillary were praised while people like Bernie were shunned. Now the roles have reversed. It is what it is.

Electors are represented proportionally.

You receive 60% of the state's votes, you receive 60% of the electoral vote. I don't know how that would work, but that sounds good in my head. Or just the nationwide popular vote.

Kander and Blunt were basically neck and neck until the Comey incident and then Blunt pulled forward by a few points but his lead was within the margin of error until Election Day

Just because she's not marching in the streets and making a fool of herself like Jill Stein, it doesn't means she secretly opposed a federal government and wants to privatize healthcare. also the fact that there is no middle anymore. thanks to increasing partisan polarization there are fewer and fewer undecided voters in each election. this is also due to the 24 hour news cycle and our 18-month-long election cycles which ensure that most people have their minds made up about the candidates by the time we are through with the primaries
