Right? It's kind of tragic how biased they can be with all the last-minute rule changing. Like they only changed the rules so Katy couldn't surpass Michael's record. It's even worse for Katy because POM technically already existed when TD was released, if only she put the original version as a Japan edition bonus track or something.
Imagine if TOTGA was released 1 month earlier, video came out 1 month earlier, tragic B.o.B remix never happened and she went straight to the flawless acoustic version, performed that everywhere, discounted it, and shot a second 1-take music video for the acoustic version instead of putting up the lazy audio/lyric videos.
She could have continued her Top 10 streak after LFN and possibly even gotten that #1. Ugh stupid team.
