TAYLOR AND JUSTIN DO THE X FACTOR
Taylor Swift was a guest performed on The X Factor USA this weekend where she performed her latest single that is a duet between her and one of the most successful artists as of late, recording artist Justin Bieber. Released about a week ago, the song ‘Time After Time’ has already taken over the charts as Taylor gave the first performance with Bieber about a week ago at the Create A Label Debuts awards where Bieber performed the song as a part of a medley in promotion for his album 'The Complete Dream'. With the release from Taylor Swift and her label 'Tigerlily Recordings', 'All At Once: The Platinum Edition' being released today with 'Time After Time' as the official fourth single from the album. Swift performed the song on The X Factor UK. Giving an amazing vocal performance of the song, sadly without Justin Bieber joining her as he was in the United States doing promotion over there for the song.
The performance started off with Taylor in the shadows as the set up featured trees highlighted in a yellow as the stage exuded a haunting and saddening feeling and mood. Taylor stood in the shadow as the intro started. Justin stood in the center of the stage, looking out dramatically in the audience as you could see Taylor to the side of him in the distance. He sang the first verse sounding great, as Taylor assisted him vocally on the pre-chorus of the song. The chorus caused the stage to light up and Justin sang full out as Taylor backed him up with her falsetto at some parts. The second verse called for Taylor to sing and she sounded flawless as she moved from out of the yellow mist and towards Justin. She sang the chorus with conviction as they looked at each other as the sang the lyrics that were written by both of them a few weeks ago. The bridge called for a bit of a line off as Justin would sing one line, Taylor the next, their voices more and more powerful with each line until they both belted out a big note in harmony with each other and sent chills down people’s spines. They sang their hearts out on the final chorus, giving amazing adlibs that never failed to stay on key and pitch. They got close to each other and looked into each others eyes as they sand before they ended the performance with a big note. At the end they hugged and bowed before they left the stage.
