I remember when the Grammys was coming in last year I thought it landed with my work hours so I told my mom I was ready to take the day off or change my hours so I can watch the Adele slayage XP. Luckily for me I got the date wrong and I didn't have to do anything. I know how you're gonna feel though Mezik .

I need to book the Grammys off, I am not missing it. I'm hoping that because Carrie is performing there that it means Carrie has a better chance at winning. I really need Grammy #6.

I don't think Carrie is completely out of the running, I mean Blown Away was acclaimed by everyone and everywhere. I think its only competitor is Springsteen, and even then I think Blown Away has a good shot because Carrie's the sole female.

I'm thinking she's got a shot, but I won't be shocked if she loses.

I think she has a higher shot than the others to be honest. Springsteen was huge, but I mean it was the same old "dedicate my love for this artist who is a legend song" whereas Blown Away is so theatrically powerful that it's too hard to ignore. Also Blown Away was able to get nominated with a dual nomination slot. Obviously the commitee is interested in Blown Away and if they weren't it would of gone pre-elimination round because of the split voting.

I was actually shocked that Blown Away got a nom at all. I thought if anything, she'd get a nom for the album (which I was like 100% sure of before ). I'd bet that Blown Away is in the top 2 for votes in the end, but only one counts
