what's this I'm hearing about Usher being sad after he didn't get the response from the audience like he expected?
To me he did great

He did great no doubt and that's what I meant with "he deserved more praise" :/

Everything is good so far the only thing I don't like is his style. He's wearing too much black lately.

yea I sensed that folks weren't feeling him that much again, I don't know may be to people its a little too late for him to take his craft seriously again, Chris got more cheers than him which is painful because Usher performed better than Chris could ever dream of.. In my own opinion he did great, he should just continue being consistent and folks might start warming up to him once more. He was still the best of the night!
Was Tameka his wardrobe designer from 8701 to here I stand?

Yeah so true!! I think Chris gets all the hype because he was in "prison". I am not sure with Tameka but he really needs to focus on his style... it feels like he's wearing over and over the same clothes especially when he's performing :/

The crowd at BET was kind of quiet in most performances so

His fashion this era is ok, but nothing special. I actually would be here for some crazy outfits and some original fashion. Like something he didn't do before

I was extremely proud of his performance and now that I rewatched it the crowd was dead. Do they know that he is the King of R&B. He is the only one that has a diamond album a feat which BET and other singers that they are now watching never and would never achieve.

The AMA'S and Grammy's are really the ones that respect USHER and his legendary status.

There is nothing wrong with what he was wearing. I like the muted colors. That's the audience's loss, his set list was great and everyone else enjoyed it.

@Patricia not everyone might like what you like. You might feel like his black costume was the best, another person might feel that the color or repeated clothing wasn't great. Everyone's opinion is valuable

He's finally shooting artwork for his album , I can't wait to see how its going to look, and its 8701's 13th anniversary. I can't believe its been 13 years already, that era was great.

He said the album is coming out this August because that's when his 1st album came out...I can't wait for the new album I'm tired of playing the old ones

I think he was mostly recorded rather than the crowd. Remember, Chris didn't sing during his performance and it was mostly and very little ad-lib.

Also, I don't care about his urban audience. Usher's audience has always been crossover. Once he gets another crossover hit, everyone will be all over him again. The urban audience only care about the new artists or the very few long lasting artists. A very disrespectful bunch imo.

His fashion's fine. I also really liked his red/black motif. Now it seems like it's black/gold. The more gold, the better I say!

Yeah this makes me so sad tbh. He was listed in the same category as Beyonce etc. and now some blogs/people ignore it. I really hope so much that he slays this era and shut every hater down and all the garbage blogs, award shows etc. this man is a living legend who did so much for music and people should give him the credit he deserves.

They did this to Trey Songz a couple of years ago and now he's almost forgotten to them lol. I barely even know August Alsina since I'm not hugely into Urban Radio, but what's so special about him aside from his hard times? A lot of people had hard times to get to the top.

Alsina will fall into the same category as Trey Songz, Omarion, etc. The only urban artists that seem to have any sort of staying power in recent memory are Weeknd, Miguel and Frank Ocean and its not because of the urban audience but their craft.

I will never understand their fixation with Chris Brown though. Never have, never will. Same goes for Drake, but then again I'm not gay nor do I connect with either artist lol. #overrated
