I definitely think Aura made people lose interest in ARTPOP. It's not exactly the best opening song.
You start the album with that and then go "WTF. " and just stop. And then transition into the poorly-produced Venus.

Not to mentions, Jewels N Drugs being the definition of filler, but it's track #5.

The fact that she pushed hard for Aura & Venus to become singles (especially Venus) & called Jewels N Drugs her favorite ARTPOP song on Twitter quite awhile ago shows you how much she has lost the plot. This is the same woman (apparently) who gave us Paparazzi & Alejandro. Lol at how hard she has fallen.
