The EDM remix mask the heart of the song. But the original is mellow if you want to give it an ear:

I disagree. I think the EDM remix adds to the hollowness of the lyrics. The sound of the synths in my opinion really help bring out the feeling of going out and partying and trying to still be cool but feeling empty and depressed while doing so.
