Cute and catchy to an extent, but this is only good to listen to every now and then and does not hold up with repeat listens. I gave it the benefit of the doubt with my score but it could've gone down to a 4 with how much I've played these songs in preparation for and hosting this rate. I will like it again, once I get another 6 months without hearing it. It's still only decent at best, glad that we're starting to cut some Flesh Tone.
Diarrhoea calls out the earlier mentioned songwriting again, "The title is so loaded

and for once the lazy songwriting kinda pays off. One of the trinity of this album for sure." Ok, werk.
Eeveelution also bends over backwards defending this one, "The repetitiveness kinda works here because it feels really uplifting. Queen encouraging us all to do better."
You know what else is repetitive and uplifting? Doogle listened to the song I just linked I think, since he calls it a "gay anthem." Conversely,
ECNEICSNOC thinks it "would work better if it weren’t so repetitive."

Well, it's been a while hasn't it? Her best album has been untouched since 87 but here we are. It's no secret that the second half of Kaleidoscope is weaker than the first and this is prime reason why. Not nearly as bad as the closer, but still very filler-y. I can bop a little occasionally but it really didn't need to be on here and is entirely too slow. The lack of high or low scores speaks volumes.
Diarrhoea criticises this track and the album in the grander scheme, " So this is... slow. Whilst this is a great album, I do think that it needed more full on bops tbh. The first song I knew from it (like most people I guess) was Caught Out There, and at first I was kinda disappointed it was the only proper upbeat song. It isn't full of ballads, but still

" Fair enough, though this is not the track I would choose to represent the album to anyone.
ECNEICSNOC ties it to a sister track, " Interchangeable with "No Turning Back". I can't imagine how a person could have opposing views on these two songs." Well one is decent and one is... this.
