I'm starting to really like the title track.
I'm so in love with Lana. She's the only one doing what feels really right to her, expanding her sound and universe following what she truly wants without getting credit to people telling **** about her.
I also like the fact that she achieved to become a popular artist without being overexposed on medias. She may has a small fan base compared to others but you can tell that people following her do it because they truly love what she's making. And not because she's topping every charts.

And I don't buy the excuses you gave for the choruses being the title repeated four times, personally

Ok, but "it's not" is not defending my, as well as most people's, argument. It is lazy. Compare the choruses on the two albums. How many words are in BTD's vs. UV's.
How repetitive CW is (that one gets a pass imo)
"Ultraviolence, Ultraviolence, Ultraviolence, Ultraviolence...."
SOG, BB, and WC are a bit repetitive as well, however they are flawless and I'm not bothered by them at all, I LOVE them
"I'm a sad girl, I'm a sad girl, I'm a sad girl."
"Pretty when I cry, pretty cry, pretty when I cry."
MPG, FMWUTTT, and OM don't bother me so much, I think they are find
"Black Beauty black beauty" such a restive, monotonous song
"He loved guns and roses, guns and roses......"
FK is super repetitive
"Is this happiness? Is this happiness? Etc"
Flip side is a little repetitive, not too bad
And even though AFFA wasn't released, it was for UV originally, and same thing: "angels forever, forever Angels. Repeat"
Even Big Eyes. Not that it was an album song, but still very recent and could be indicatory of the album. And god knows we don't want anything of ICF or WFL to influence the album, even if they're not so repetitive. And HM song already has the same repetition.
Compare the songwriting. Now compare those to BTD's chorus, OFTR's (which actually changes every time), BJ, VG, C, MDM. There are a few repetitive choruses with just a few words (DMD, NA, SS), but they're no where near as plentiful or noticeable. And the rest (only a couple) aren't super wordy, but aren't too repetitive either (like SOC, BB, WC, OM). There are stark differences in songwriting.
I am right

The only negative and annoying thing I could say about UV.

Florida Kilos isn't repetitive mainly in comparison to Ultraviolence, Sad Girl, Pretty When You Cry, Black Beauty, Guns n Roses ( ) and Is This Happiness

I agree, it is my only complaint of UV. I do think the songwriting is more mature overall (verses) and more artistic (better), but it is definitely my qualm. She also sounds more like herself on UV. The two are such different albums, it's hard to compare. I love them both, and I really hope I love HM too. Sure I will

I actually quite like it! The way the beat drops in the first chorus!!! Ugh so amazing.
I just meant that it's repetitive. I do really like it! Bringing in Paul was such a good idea for that song

But why does a more "wordy" chorus = a better chorus? I don't get it
What is this claim based on?
And what is so wrong with repetition? It is one of the most powerful and important songwriting techniques. Why does, in your opinion, the use of repetition make Lana lazy?

Mmmmmhmm! I either love, really like, or enjoy every song from UV. I was only pointing out some of the weak and/or choruses, but I still love the album so much.
As someone else pointed out, HM is kind of a combination of BTD, P, and UV, in a way. Which is a really interesting thought, and I'm so curious to hear the rest of the album. Can't believe 14 new songs!

Because it shows she put thought into the BTD choruses, whereas on UV it's all just the title repeated a hundred times. Like, I don't get how you can't see that as lazy? Maybe it's fine for a few songs, but for the majority of them? How is it not lazy? Compare how beautifully worded and written the chorus to VG is to a song on UV. I'm not saying they're bad songs. God no...PWYC may have a boring chorus in comparison to how good the verses and bridge are, but I still love it and it's one of my favorites.nbut you know what I'm saying? All the UV songs are good or great. Now imagine them with not a boring, lazy and repetitive chorus and instead with a thoughtful chorus with actual other words than just the title 4 times. Think of how much better they'd be! THAT is what I am saying.

Then get out?
Mess, it's in direct relation to HM. Even in my last post lmao
Anyway, straight to the point, I hope she writes better choruses for HM and that the title track is not indicatory of the full although, although I like it a lot now. It's just not amazing imo,
