This is actually the type of song that could get annoyingly stuck in your head, like Anaconda
Too bad it didnt have an amazing video to help with that

Could people seriously stop with the "she's lazy" ********? If you read the interview, she was naming so many things she was working on I'm shocked she's even working on new music
She doesn't respect herself, excuse me? She's just being humble about the fact that people still want to work with her, it has nothing to do with respecting yourself.
She said what she said about LAMB because it was something so new back then that no one had any idea how the GP would react to such record. Some of you can really twist anything with your wild imagination, damn

Relax dude, first she was the one who call herself lazy, second she comes across as passive, and third I can express my POV, this is free forum, maybe you can handle the truth, she and Interscope are a mess because they wanted to rush everything just for money.

From what it sounds like, she's very happy to be putting this new solo album together, but she's not really going to promote it much. I can totally understand that, especially with a new No Doubt album coming soon and a Summer festival tour. She's just putting out this solo stuff for fun. I'm excited knowing we have 2 albums coming soon from her. I could care less if it flops or not. I never let that ruin it for me.

i like it, but I also feel underwhelmed. It's got such a hard beat, but the verses and bridge were
The Hook though

I was hoping those commercials would give the song a boost on itunes. Unfortunately, it keeps falling without any indication that the promo ads are helping its sales. It's #206 now. ugh.

There is no way we're getting a new ND album in 2015 imo. They work SO slow and I'm still hung up on the 2013 album that was teased but never happened

She should scrap the solo album and go straight to ND. The whole point of The Voice was to get her back in the spotlight and now she has it, and people will care more about a ND release than in 2012. Clearly she's not interested in solo music other than for promotion purposes. She's at a good spot right now to just do the music she loves, which is with No Doubt.

No Doubt >>> Gwen solo anyways. Push and Shove was amazing whether it was a commercial success or not

I hope she doesn't scrap anything just because something she releases isn't successful. I've wanted another solo album for a while, and we all know she'll always be with No Doubt no matter what, so why not just release the material she's worked on and if it sells it does, if it doesn't, it doesn't.. I'd be happy either way.

This is a good point too. It will look like she has commitment issues with her projects if she doesn't go through with the solo record now. But at the end of the day she shouldn't care about that stuff or peoples' opinions and just do her thing.

Ugh, this song is such a smash. If Gwen was 10 years younger and the song had proper promotion...

The song has had promotion though. The Voice, Fiat and MasterCard commercials, will be on the New Year's Eve special. And Pharrell said the lyrics about feminism. Her line "Hey, get off my cloud" can easily refer to what you were saying about the music industry being ageist against females. Let's be honest, out of all the women in their 40s Gwen has the best shot to break that ridiculous glass ceiling once and for all. "2015, we take off our shells" - if that line is any indication, then this song's run is just beginning.

I know it's had promo, I meant those two things together lol but I can see how the original post was confusing. But your point about the 2015 line-- do you think she has a plan?
