I just read about the RL Mod and it looks WAY more fun

Uninstall the current one, via Control Panel. Install one of the older ones (1.2.6 or 1.2.7). You don't have to pay again, just use the serial you bought . It'll work forever
(I've actually given it two to others to use too, shhh).
Go to wolverinestudios forum, and then look in the Mods sub-section under MWR2, and there's the Real Life mod. Download that and all is explained but basically you just have to export it (aka 7zip or something), into the C: Wolverine Studios: Music Wars Rebirth 2 folder. And there you go!
(Unfortunately the folder isn't fully complete with artist pics, so any artist's real name from like M onwards doesn't have a picture (Robyn Fenty, Stefani Germanotta etc). You can add your own in the game editor if it bothers you that much.
BEFORE you start the new game, go to Game Editor and change your data from Data.vdb to RL Mod.vdb - coz if not you won't use the RL mod.
