After an announcement earlier in the week by producer Diplo, Paige Elliot's new single featuring Leona Lewis, "Secret", was released this morning. The song was premiered on Paige's website and YouTube channel, while also being available for digital download on major markets such as iTunes and Amazon.

Being teased as an "immense" song by Diplo, "Secret" lives up to the short hype with a large trap breakdown for the chorus, featuring a sweeping subbass and scratching synths, along with a striking, tension-filled piano rift throughout the verses.
The song, produced primarily by Diplo with co-production handled by Paige Elliot, features artist Leona Lewis, sharing part of the chorus, the second verse and bridge with Elliot.
Together, the duo sing and rap about secrets in extreme circumstances, comparing the consequences of getting in trouble for sharing a secret to losing your life, while also describing how painful it can be to know something you shouldn't and feel the need to share it.
Upon the single's release, Paige had the following to say:
"It was so great to work with Leona. She absolutely killed her parts, and I was so happy to work with her on this... She was my first choice for who to get on the song, because originally, Diplo wanted me to do it on my own, but I thought it would be great to have another artist take up some of the parts on it. So I went through some listings, and when I saw her name, I remembered other times I've spent with her and realized she was perfect for it. There was another male artist that I've worked with that my label wanted me to work with once I told them I was doing it with Leona, but I stood my ground with it, and I'm so glad that I did. I just think it's great to have done a song with her, and I think this one can be huge."
