Besides the theme/lyrical content, there is no similarity. And the theme/lyrical content has been done 1000s of times before both.

Yes, "We Belong Together" is the most boring winner imaginable for this rate. But it's still a great song, and I'm at least glad it finally won something. Should have been "Love of My Life," though.
