Rihanna releases "Pain Killer" video; faces mega media controversy
Rihanna released the "Pain Killer" video today, igniting a massive media frenzy. The video sparked major controversy within hours of the video being uploaded online. Scenes including smoking, sex, and drugs including cocaine and miscellaneous pills have caused the video to be banned in several countries and parent councils across the world to be angry.
The controversy has caused the video to attract over 25 million videos in under 24 hours.

Taylor Swift was live at the ARIA Awards tonight in Australia to perform her latest hit single 'Loving The Wrong Way' for an audience of 12,000 people. The performance started off lit in dim red as ribbons of black started falling from the ceiling. The fell in allignment (almost like a wall) as the production of the song started. Before the first verse started, a string from the side of the stage pulled the ribbons strongly to the sides as it revealed Swift standing there in an elgeant black gown with a microphone (that was all balck with swarovski crystals). She began singing sounding flawless as the screen behind ehr flashed. The chorus was massive as the stage lit up different colors in sync with the the beats and such. The bridge was the most epic part as a orchestratic dubstep breakdown took over as dancers waving black flags ran in front of Taylor as she swung her hair. Black glitter came from above before Taylor was now wearing a red dress. The ending featured new ad libs and a more edgy sound.

Justin does album signing for 'Crossing Paths'
 
While in UK performing for X Factor UK, the high-profile star Bieber, aged 21 -- managed to throw an autograph singing for fans nearby. He did it at a popular UK CD Store, 'United CDs' in which was specially promoting his newest LP 'Crossing Paths' with 2 posters in the windows and a whole section of the store stocked with his CD's. They put 1,000 CD's in stock and eventually all of them sold out during the process of the signing at the night closing hours. Justin got to meet some of his European fans, along with hold some conversations, and answer some questions. He promised them he'd visit UK more, and that ofcourse -- the new tour, 'Crossing Worlds' was gonna have a date or 2 in the UK. Justin said he hopes he can do something special he planned to do with his last UK Tour Stop, that he didn't get to do due to quick scheduling.

Taylor Swift was live on The X Factor Australia tonight to perform her song 'Loving The Wrong Way'. Talking backstage just before the show about her single and her stance on gay rights, she said, "The album really embraces the feelings that come with dark love. Dark times where you know it won't work out but it's just such an amazing feeling from taking the risk. The album really embraces the theme of equality as well." When asked about gay rights and if she was gay she replied, "I'm not gay. I'm willing to kiss girls to prove that even though I am straight, I'm completely for the equality of same sex marriage. Love is universal and isn't limited to a gender. Let people be happy and stop being a total ****ing asswipe just becasue the bible told you too. Like get a hoppy or something jack ass." With that said, Swift performed a stripped version of the song in a gold chain dress made by Gucci.

Trailer for E! Special, 'Justin: Crossing New Lanes' Premieres
 
Justin Bieber's upcoming documentary special with E!, 'Justin: Crossing New Lanes' set to premiere in 2 weeks premiered a trailer on E!'s official website. The trailer documented Justin dealing with starting the recording process of his album, 'Crossing Paths' along with trying to do and complete the Christmas era 'Christmas Weekend'. It shows everything down to him premiering the album, and announcing he'd felt a certain success already with the era. It shows the triumphs, the lows, the engagement, the everything! The special has E! in a promotion blitz with it, and the Bieber fans are more excited than ever for a new special for a new era.

Justin performs on The Today Show
After visiting 'Good Morning America' recently this week; in a promotional blitz the young superstar Justin Bieber also marks a visit to 'The Today Show' in a morning show takeover. He came on The Today Show to perform a 3 track setlist, instead of the 1 single he performed on Good Morning America followed by a small interview. Justin's performances aired, following the end of the program.

Justin then gave out free albums to the crowd, along with announcing that 'Crossing Paths' was currently in retail stores across America. Justin talked to fans after the program, who waited outside for hours giving out some hugs -- and even ordering 100 cups of Hot Chocolate for the fans. They took some selfies and then Justin had to leave to do further promotion for his album.

Paige Elliot ATTACKED By Ex-Husband, David
March 4, 2014 From Tuesday
In a terrifying turn of events, which has been described as "one of the darkest hours of [her] life" by the victim, actress and singer Paige Elliot (née Brooklyn; which she will be referred to for the remainder of the article) was attacked by her ex-husband, entrepreneur and socialite David Elliot at her private apartment in the Cosmopolitan building, in Bridgeport, SimNation.
The actress, 24, who divorced Elliot, 33, in October 2013, reportedly made a 911 call at approximately 2:30 A.M., where, through sobbing and screaming, she stated she had been attacked by her ex-husband. 911 dispatch was immediately sent to the Cosmopolitan building immediately, where they discovered Elliot on his way out of the back door of the building. Elliot was stopped by the building's security guards, and immediately taken into police custody.
Upstairs, Brooklyn was found on the second floor of her split-level apartment, unconscious next to her bed. Reports state she was naked, and covered in many large, red marks, some bruises already developing. Official reports say Brooklyn had a total of 18 individual bruises, including three on the face alone, along with several scratches from a mix of direct damage from Elliot and several from other objects throughout the apartment. Brooklyn also suffered a broken nose, with the bridge clearly and cleanly broken from a punch to the face from Elliot.
Brooklyn checked into the Bridgeport hospital immediately, and a reconstructive procedure to reset and fix her nose was scheduled for the following Wednesday morning. After being checked in, Brooklyn was questioned, as routine, where she stated that she had been in her apartment, getting ready to take a shower, when she heard a pounding at the door. She went to answer it, only to be hit in the throat by Elliot, who appeared in a drunken, enraged state and knocked her into the dining room table. He then proceeded to punch, slap and kick her several times, before she attempted to crawl away, resulting in Elliot grabbing her by the hair and tossing her into a bookshelf. Brooklyn managed to run upstairs and lock the door, where she then made the 911 call, though Elliot broke down the door once again and grabbed her by the neck, tossing her into the glass door out to her bedroom balcony. He then grabbed her yet again, and knocked her into the wall by her bed, rendering her unconscious, before he began to leave the building.
Several neighbors of Brooklyn were questioned, asking why they did not immediately respond to the screams of Brooklyn during the attack. One neighbor, who asked to remain anonymous, responded by saying that Brooklyn often watches horror movies, loudly, at these hours of the night, and that they believed this was another one of those incidents. Another said they felt like it wasn't their business to intrude on such.
Elliot remains in police custody, and is facing up to fifteen years of jail time for aggravated assault, cause of grievous bodily harm, trespassing, violation of restraining order and destruction of personal property. Aside from jailtime, Brooklyn claims she plans to sue Elliot for the attack, a case which has already rumored to possibly end in millions of dollars being given from Elliot to Brooklyn should Brooklyn win the case. Finally, Brooklyn filed for another restraining order, the first of which was served to Elliot just before their divorce case back in October. The new one is to keep Elliot a minimum of 1,000 meters away from Brooklyn at all times; failure to comply with the restraining order can result in another five years added to the current possible sentence.
Several television moguls, such as Maury, Oprah, Jerry Springer and even Dr. Phil have already contacted Brooklyn, asking for an appearance on their respective shows to discuss the abuse case. While Brooklyn has not responded to anything, a regular pattern of behavior leads many to believe she'll appear on some of the shows before her court case.

Phoebe Tonkin performs on MTV Artist To Watch concert
Phoebe Tonkin appeared on MTV's Artist To Watch tour concert in New York alongside with Austin Mahone and Fifth Harmony. On stage in the mini arena, Phoebe performed a setlist of her upcoming songs that will be on her upcoming debut album. Phoebe started with a performance of Bedtime Stories, her debut single, then later performed a new song for the first time, called Night Visions. It seemed that people in the audience enjoyed the new mid-tempo indie pop ballad. Surprisingly, Phoebe's voice sounded really amazing, powerful and emotional while she sang this new song about, basically, visions. After the emotional and powerful performance, Phoebe performed another song, called Chasing Stardust, which turned the audience instantly with infectious pop and fun song, which was produced by Kid Harpoon. Phoebe chose to perform another exclusive new song called Troubled as the fourth song during her set, which sounded a lot like an Arctic Monkeys rock song with a pop influence, but it sounded really fresh and something that wasn't heard on the radio before. To end her set, Phoebe performed her current single Midsummer Days, and, to her surprise, audience in the arena started to sing along, and it was fun to see how surprised was Phoebe when people knew the lyrics.

Midsummer Days video premieres on VEVO & MTV
The video starts with showing Phoebe and her friends sitting by a huge tree, talking and laughing. Phoebe is only with a bikini and a tight shorts on, while other four people are with only bikinis and swim shorts on as well. There are three girls and two guys. Then, Phoebe starts talking and says, that the summer is almost over and they haven't been on a trip for ages, not even last summer. Phoebe sighs when they just laugh it off, stands up and starts walking towards home. While walking home, Phoebe sees that her neighbour is washing his brand new car, and Phoebe instantly thinks of something. She tells the idea to her friends and they all hide in the bushes. Suddenly, Phoebe calls her neighbour, and he instantly goes to the house to answer. As soon as he leaves the car, Phoebe and her friends runs to the car, jumps into it and drives away, while her neighbour tries to run and catch them, but, unfortunately, Phoebe and her friends drives away while laughing. During the next scene it is showed how Phoebe is driving the car, and the song slowly starts. The next shots includes of how Phoebe is jumping into the lake, dancing in the huge fields, forests and a lot of more. The video premiered on VEVO and MTV at the same time all around the world, not only US. After the video premiere, the single jumped on the iTunes as well, and a lot of social pages like Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook buzzed with gifs, screenshots, photos from the video.

Phoebe Tonkin has stopped by the Today Show in New York City, where she performed her current single Midsummer Days. Phoebe Tonkin sang it acousticly, just sitting on the chair with a guitarist next to her, helping her out with the instrumental. Phoebe was wearing a metallic blue crop top and leggings. The outfit looked super sexy on her, it helped Phoebe to show her figure, which is the bomb to be honest, her figure is one of the best ones in this industry. She completed the look with black Louboutin shoes, which made her look even more fiercer and sexier. Phoebe's hair was super messy and a little bit curled, which created an amazing effect. For the make-up, Phoebe chose to go out more natural, so there wasn't much of make-up on her face this time. Her performance was really good, she did an amazing job with the vocals one more time, there were no problems and everything went right, just as it was planned.

Phoebe Tonkin performs on American Idol
Phoebe Tonkin stopped by the American Idol contest, where she performed her current single Midsummer Days, which is a follow-up to her debut single Bedtime Stories, which went two times Platinum and number one in three weeks. On the show, Phoebe performed a remixed version of the Midsummer Days. Phoebe performed a Chainsmokers remix, which is also available on Phoebe's Midsummer Days: The Remixes EP on iTunes and Amazon. When the intro started, Phoebe walked on the stage along with ten back-up dancers. She looked super fierce and sexy as she worked those shorts, crop top, white jacked and white Louboutin shoes. Her hair was pinned to the back. During the performance, there were a lot of dancing, a lot of hair shaking, and Phoebe did those things as well. During the dance breakdowns and other pauses where she didn't had to sing, Phoebe joined her back-up dancers and did a dance routine a long with them. After her performance, Midsummer Days: The Remixes EP jumped super high on album charts on iTunes.

Sam Smith working on new album

Sam Smith stopped by today to announce that he is working on a new album. He said that this album he will go back to his roots. Sam Smith shared with us what sound he envisions the completed work to be. "I want to go back to what I was doing in Vocal School. Raw, Bare, and just a mash of Soul but I want to take what I learned in the past year too." When asked if there will be any pop influences on the new album, Sam Smith expressed that he is open to any genres, and he is interested in working with R&B and Pop producers.

Phoebe Tonkin to replace Sandra Oh on Grey’s Anatomy?
 
A month or two ago, it was announced that Sandra Oh, who is playing Christina Yang on Grey's Anatomy, is leaving the show after starring on it for ten seasons, and instantly, everyone who is a fan of the show started guessing, who might replace her. Earlier today, a whole new pic leaked on the internet, where Phoebe is seen sitting by the table with papers in her hands, reading something. Now, it wouldn't be so interesting if she would be just sitting and reading something all alone, but surprisingly, right next to her, in the picture, Ellen Pompeo, who is playing Meredith Grey, and also Justin Chambers, who is playing Alex Karev, are sitting next to Phoebe Tonkin. After the picture leaked on the internet, everyone started guessing if Phoebe is the next major character on the show, and even some websites started claiming that the producers paid Phoebe a lot of money if she'd agree to play on the show. However, Phoebe nor her label and magament haven't said anything about this new leak thing, letting everyone keep guessing.

Phoebe Tonkin appears on Good Morning America
 
Phoebe Tonkin has appeared on the Good Morning America show, where she performed her currenting single Midsummer Days, and gave a quick little interview as well. Before her interview, she performed. Phoebe was wearing a beautiful pink maxi skirt, loose and a little bit sheer white shirt, and ankle boots with a bigger heel. She looked healthy and rested, her make-up was super light, which made her just look more natural, more organic and naturally beautiful. She perfomed Midsummer Days with a live band, which helped her out with the song's instrumental. Her voice sounded fresh and nice, and even powerful, which is a good thing, that a voice sounds powerful in the early morning. Everything went right just as it was planned. Later, after her performance, she appeared on GMA to give an interview as well. During the interview, she said that she is excited about everything thats going on at the moment, which is performing at places, promoting her song and stuff like that. Also, she talked about the album release, saying, that her fans can expect an announcement about it in a week, or two.

Midsummer Days used in a Girls episode
HBO sitcom Girls used Phoebe's current single Midsummer Days on the newest episode. The Phoebe's song played during a moment when Hannah was walking down the street. The Midsummer Days song was used during the right time and it sounded great on TV - nostalgic and fun, which probably made everyone who watches Girls to buy the song. The song usage on the Girls episode, along with alot of other promotion tricks, will probably help Midsummer Days to become a huge hit for Phoebe, since it has been high on iTunes for a whole week now, since it's release on the digital store. Since the song is doing great on iTunes and radio, it will most likely debut kind of high on the CAL charts this week.

Phoebe Tonkin performs on Wendy Williams show
Phoebe Tonkin has stopped by the fierce Wendy Williams show, where she performed her single Midsummer Days. Midsummer Days serves as Phoebe's second single, and is set to be featured on her upcoming debut album which is scheduled for late March release, along with number one, two times Platinum debut single Bedtime Stories. Phoebe appeared on the Wendy's stage with her live band, who played the instrumental. The performance was super simple, just like any other performance that Phoebe did - during the performance, Phoebe was standing infront of microphone stand, singing her parts and doing little moves during instrumental breakdowns, while the live band members were doing their job by playing super awesome and nostalgic instrumental. Everything looked, and sounded perfect, Phoebe's voice was really impressive this time, she sounded great, even if the back vocalists helped her out when she was out of breath during some moments, but overall, she did a great job with this performance, even though it was really simple.

Phoebe Tonkin guest judges on The Voice
The 24 years old actress and singer Phoebe Tonkin has stopped by The Voice musicians contest, where she replaced Shakira for one night, when she wasn't able to judge. Phoebe has guest judged on several TV shows in the past as well, such like X Factor UK and X Factor Italia, but it was first time, I think, that she guest judged on an American TV show contest. During the episode, Phoebe was really professional and she did a great job with judging. She gave a lot of amazing advices to the contestants, and it looked like contestants were supper happy to get advices from Phoebe, because she is a singer and an artist herself, and her song reached number one on CAL charts, so it probably means something for the contestants when she gives them advices. Even though Phoebe was super friendly with everyone, but she wasn't exactly the one who said 'wow, you're so good' to everyone, as she said couple of kind of rude comments for the contestants, who clearly had terrible voice. Although she said everyting that was true, some contestants couldn't take the criticism as they shot sarcastic words against Phoebe.

Phoebe Tonkin performs on Conan
Phoebe Tonkin has stopped by the Conan show where she performed her single Midsummer Days live. On the stage, Phoebe appeared along with live band behind her. Phoebe looked really beautiful in a long white dress and white Louboutin shoes, and she looked like she could walk the Oscars red carpet in that beautiful dress. Phoebe performed an acoustic version of Midsummer Days, as she sang the beautiful ballad version infront of microphone stand. Her voice was super vulnerable and super emotional, and that's why the performance ended up being nostalgic. Phoebe and her live band did an amazing job, and even the host Conan complimented the singer by saying that her voice is the voice of tomorrow and that she looked lovely and beautiful, as always.

MTV Documentary: Phoebe Jane
Without any kind of announcement, the whole new Phoebe Tonkin's MTV one hour documentary named Phoebe Jane just aired on the MTV channel, and it features moments from the time that Phoebe has been recording her album and promoting around. During the documentary, Phoebe also explains, why she disappeared from the cameras and TV shows and stuff after Bedtime Stories went number one. During the documentary, it was showed how Phoebe stays all night long in the studio, just figuring out some kind of note or a sound, making her upcoming debut album as perfect as possible. In the documentary it was also showed how Phoebe arrives at the album cover photoshoot, and how she perfectly poses. While they were shooting the album cover, Phoebe explained, why she her poses looks so perfect, and she explains, that she used to be a model for a long time before her music and movie careers, and that modelling helped her to get noticed, modelling is the reason why people started inviting her to act in TV shows and movies. Then, she talked about the whole way to her fame in US - she explained her long time job as a mermaid on the Australian TV show, she explained how much she loved acting on The Secret Circle, and how sad she was when it ended, because she knew it will be hard to get another acting role. Phoebe, during the documentary, explained everything that has been going in her life for a while.
