Undeniably one of the sincerest songs of 2013. It's simplistic production, melodious harmony, heartbreaking lyrics and emotional rendition truly made the song magnificent. I admit I wasn't a big fan of the song when it was commercially released but it definitely touch my heart towards the end of 2013. Ultimately one of Britain's best for 2013.

Maroon 5's final appearance on the list. I actually believe the last three singles off Overexposed were definitely awesome. These three songs actually gained good standings on my yearend list. Of these three, I would rank "Love Somebody" as the second. Maybe a lot of people here would say that this one's inferior compared to their previous efforts, but I actually think the opposite.

It's been three years since we last saw Paramore charting on my yearend Top 100 list. I am not the biggest Paramore fan, I admit. Their songs seldom attain longevity on me but this one's another exception. Like majority of the tracks on the list, this one is a grower. Only appreciated it when its follow-up was released. Probably one of my Top 3 faves from the band.

Emeli's third appearance on the list (second in the Top 100). I wasn't aware that this was released in the UK 2012 not until I decided to listen to her previous singles when "Clown" was released. Upon hearing it, I instantly loved it. It sounds soulful yet full of emotions. She gave justice to this masterpiece. Glad that it was remixed for the US, it made me love the song even more.
