Ok now everyone trynna say Bey would flop selling less than 150k is just pressed she slayed the whole industry in the amount of one day.
This also shows me how most of you really know **** about sales and stuff, but whatever.

Then you really don't make any sense since the albums in the top 10 or that were predicted to be in the top 10 released were pretty much a week or older releases, still selling well. So again: you have no way to know how those type of album sell.

did you even read the question that was asked in the first place, how can beyonce be slaying at #1 in over 100 country's. the answer is that most major released new albums would of sold the bulk of there album in the first 3/4 days so Fridays sales would not be as high as Monday or Tuesday so there for it would be easier to be #1 on iTunes when you released the album on Friday and you are going up against numbers that are not as big as if, beyonce released her album on Monday/Tuesday like everyone else.

any megasuperstar artist should be able to sell 150k in 3 days with itunes only with a new relased album with all buzz an album like beyonce is getting, if they cant then they should not be called a superstar and should go and ask a real superstar if they can open for them.

Not only did I read the question but I typed a comment letting you know that your comment doesn't make any sense. There's no way you can predict how Beyonce could be slaying at #1 in some countries. Your comparing her new album to "most major released new album that would sell the bulk in the first 3/4" days. What you're not understanding is that she's not only competing with NEW releases which usually sell in a frontloaded matter but all kinds of albums; Christmas albums that might be getting a bump the closer we get to next week, older albums that might get weekend bumps..

There's no way to KNOW how all type of albums perform every week unless you're deep in statistics over at Soundscan. Come the **** on.

Itunes does not count the hole week, it only goes in 24 hour time frame so any albums you sold before Friday will not count for you Friday total. soundscan counts the hole week and i bet she is not #1 in over 100 country's when weekly totals are released.

well the first 3 hours had the shock factor or the major earthquake per say, and the rest of the 69 hours well the shock factor kinda wore off and only aftershocks were left

Fun fact: This'll be Beyonce's 5th consecutive #1. All 5 of her albums will have debuted at #1. The second longest streak is 1D with their first 3 albums debuting at #1. (Britney and Alicia had 3 consecutive #1s but got thrown off with their 4th album.)

EDIT: Britney had 4 consecutive #1s, not 3. My bad. Also, forgot about DMX, whose first 5 albums all debuted at #1. Like Britney and Alicia, DMX's streak is already done. Beyonce and 1D have the two longest #1 streaks.
