It's clearly the song that most fitted (with a bit of input from Baz) the feel of the film. 'Ride', great song that it is, wouldn't have fitted this movie at all. Or any other song from Paradise for that matter.
We can argue about whether it's as good or not as her previous stuff all day without achieving anything meaningful because it's just opinions at the end of the day. The most important thing for me is this song appears to be changing perceptions of Lana in US blogland. No mean feat when you have witnessed what went on there late 2011/early 2012.
