I don't think this is gonna smash the US. It'll be a surefire worldwide hit (already is) but I think she should now push a crossover hip/hop song like Hov Lane then Va Va Voom. I really think they made a mistake for the US with PTA

Hmm. Doubt it. This is an easy top 10 in the US. And by her standards, that's a smash.

It could either go one or two ways:

A) This smashes as well and people think every song on the album sounds like Starships

B) This flops because people may think it's just Starships 2.0

We can't say anything until the music video releases and gets me radio airplay. Its only been sent to the radio a few days ago.


Starships was release February 14th, 2012, but didnt slay the charts until April and May and June!!!!!

tbh, i think every single is different and some reach to the top one way or the other.

Starships hit top 10 the first week because it was new and never before heard.

The music video expanded longevity.

Just because Starships did successfuly in the very beginning doesn't mean Pound The Alarm wont hit top 10 eventually. The music will boost the song.
