Synopsis
iamamiwhoami returns to our countdown after last being seen at number 48, with "Good Worker". "Drops" is the second track on kin, and it is only iam's second elimination. The song starts off sounding rough, almost like debris hitting your car during bad weather. However, the shining moment is during the bridge where the synths become twingling and mystical. Of course there are some abstract lyrics to decipher as well.

Standout Line
"One more wrong (come back), cost you all (come back) / Sticks like glue, obstructs my view"

As an Iamamiwhoami stan, I always hated "Drops". Good riddance.

Now that The Knife and Agnes are both on the edge of glory with two and one song(s) respectively, we'll have to turn toward some iam, Robyn, and Lykke. Everyone else besides those three are pretty much annihilated.

"Drops" grew on me during the voting period, I gave it an 8. I love those twingling synths. It should have been higher than "Rascal", "In Due Order", "Sever", and maybe even "Kill".

Agreed. What's even worse is that Robyn has 11 of the 28 songs remaining. I like her, but this is getting ridiculous. A bunch of stuff from The Knife and Fever Ray was so much better.

Synopsis
So apparantly now we're punching iamamiwhoami. "Rascal" is the seventh track on kin and it is one of the softer tracks on the album. Jonna seems to be looking back on her wounds in a reflective manner. There are some nice, more subtle touches of iam's electronic sound on this track. Two thirds of the kin album remains alive.

Standout Lines
"Wanted us to live in times of bliss, I couldn't evoke the memories I had missed"

"Someone who dared to lose it all, someone who's ready to take the fall"

I'm glad that it atleast made it this far. It's still one of the best on the album.

And so it begins. I'm glad In Due Order and Goods are still in, the rest of her stuff can kick the bucket. Also Call Your Girlfriend NEEDS TO GO.

I appreciate it's inclusion on the album but I could never fully get into it.

"Play" and "Goods" are where it's at.

"Call Your Girlfriend" is dance-pop perfection. "Dancing On My Own" is the overrated one.

"Pass This On" is flawless, it's one of my favourites off of Deep Cuts.
"drops" is trash, I'm so glad it's finally out. It really shouldn't have been above the greatness that is "good worker" though.
I like "rascal" too, but I'd say its placement is quite fair.
