The situations are different. Bey's 'flop' era was the first time she was managing herself & releasing things through her own company. She was also making primarily R&B music at a time when campy pop music was as big as ever.

She never changed. If there's someone who deserves a comeback, it's her. I want her to have a Pharrell-type comeback. I find it interesting that between the BET Awards last year and the Superbowl this year, Missy has been more visible as a performer than behind the scenes. She must be dropping something soon.
