Interesting find with the sales: thankfully Billboard also included her total sales for both albums and singles, because they didn't list all figures for either; only the albums that charted and singles that sold over 1M copies in the US.
Collective album sales from the values given by Billboard for Animal, Cannibal, Warrior and The Remix Album are
2,464,000, while Billboard cites her total album sales as
2,470,000. This 6,000 difference likely comes from Deconstructed (iTunes sales) as that's her only other "album" release, and it never charted on Billboard. There's always the possibility that it's just a rounded figure (Billboard cite 2.47M, not 2,470,000 exactly), but 2,464,000 would round down to 2.46M, not up.
There's a much bigger gap with singles; the nine listed bring the total to
31,900,000 of a total
36,300,000, which is a difference of 4,400,000. Given C'Mon and Crazy Kids weren't listed as part of the 1M+ we know they can't have sold any more than 900k (which is an inflation), so the remaining 4.4M is likely split between the following:
C'Mon (#27)
Crazy Kids (#40)
Till The World Ends (The Femme Fatale Remix) (#3)
Sleazy Remix 2.0 - Get Sleazier (#37)
Sleazy (#51)
Cannibal (#77)
Crazy Beautiful Life (#93)
Dirty Picture (#96)
**** Him He's A DJ (#97)
Kiss N Tell (#109)
Thinking Of You (#114)
Grow A Pear (#121)
Animal (#125)
Warrior (#125)
Not sure if we have updated stats for any of these to either prove/disprove anything though.
