Well there were actual disperancies found (and corrected however this accounted for an increase in Trump's votes in PA and a decrease in WI), hacking isn't the only thing.
I don't get Jill's endgame here. Con for money? Guilt for election? Potential powerplay for a Hillary's cabinet seat?
She has to fight off arguments that third party was the reason Hillary lost. I see this as a way to show that she'll fight for the cause, going against Trump (when she spent 80% of the election campaigning against Hillary). It's good PR and she'll probably collect some good fundraising money from this too.
