You don't release singles while recording? I always release two singles before the album, then the album, then a 3rd fully promoted single right before the tour, then start recording after the tour ends and release at least two more singles, and sometimes do a second tour leg while recording

if the album is like 7M+ WW I would release a 4th single for the fans but I normally release 3 singles. Eden and Rosetta Heart got 4 singles. The rest are 3 singles only. Rosetta Heart had the biggest tour tbh because when I was finished with my Madness Wonderland era I wasn't going to tour for the album. I only tour for it when I completed recording Rosetta Heart and I named it "The Rosetta Show" with only songs from Madness Wonderland then I released the lead single from Rosetta Heart and so on. Then I toured for the Rosetta Heart album and named it "The Rosetta Heart Show" in which I used songs from both Rosetta Heart and Madness Wonderland since both were dark themed albums. So basically that's my highest grossing tour.

The Rosetta Heart Show grossed around 700M+ with 150 dates with 8 legs

The only problem I have with changing the genre, is the popularity effect... I don't mind changing it once, but continuously doing it and then having to promote before the album release so it doesn't flop.

I rarely change genres but when I do I actually change them. I try to do it towards the end of the previous era so I can release a single or two to get their popularity back up before I start recording the new album. It doesn't really usually affect anything for me. At most if they're doing an album that just leans one way or has a certain mood I choose that from themes when writing an album

She's going to rest after this album. I want to focus on Zero Dark for a bit. She will take a year off.

How do you get debut singles to slay so much? It always takes me at least 2 buzz tracks fully promoted before I can get anything to chart well

Zero Dark had finished recording in August and i set their debut single for release in December. I toured in ASIA until the end of october and by then their popularity was at 29%. Basically touring brings up rep even if it's 0%.
