I don't think it'll be panned. As long as it is on par or higher quality than Return of the Jedi, I'll be fine. I'm not expecting a masterpiece. The teasers and trailers are already better than TPM and AOTC tbh.

I really don't think it will. One because I generally think the movie will be great, and two because I feel like everyone is rooting for this reboot. There's no naysayers, even the hardcore stans. Only if the movie is truly, truly bad.
