Kemosabe and RCA are essentially on the same level and both share the parent company of Sony Music Entertainment. RCA is a much bigger label though. But Kemosabe isn't under RCA (as I initially thought).

However if an artist works with Luke it doesn't have to have anything to do with Kemosabe. Kelly and P!nk (then LaFace) are with RCA and worked with Luke. Katy and Nicki have also frequently worked with Luke and both their labels share a parent company of Universal; Sony's rival. So Luke must have deals set up that allow him to work with non-Sony artists as well.

If Kelly's label forced her to work with Luke on All I Ever Wanted so she'd get a hit, that's not something that can be used against Luke really, that's all on her label.

Like when I used to download her unreleased songs on this app, the coding always listed the album as "K$" and they always had a unique cover art. I never seen the actual photo in any of her photoshoots. It doesn't really look like a fanmade album cover lol
