i think we'll have 7 singles max!!  in this age, 9 singles are too much to really happen! unless we do it like nicki.. just shooting them out one after another!!

12 singles were too much in Shania's day but she did it  Taylor doesn't have to play by the rules of the others. Though I agree we always think she'll have like 8 singles on each album but she only does 5-6

12 is too much in any age and day ! 
most of taylor's songs are single materials.. thats why we expect her to release crap load of them, but in the end she release 5/6.. but if she takes 3 years between now and LP5, we might actually get more this time!

Yep, I think Stay3x won't be released as single, so my list only has 8 singles now
Nicki is not successful with Pound the Alarm and I was the leader, so the era looks like a mess
We'll see what's gonna happen with Red

Yup, That era is a mess i'm still mad about that but I think if Taylor plans on extending her singles I think she can be more successful doing it if everything is done right.

Its an unfortunate situation. I hope i does not blow up too much. If i were a songwriter i`d probably get lawsuits left and right. Certain things just stick in your memory without you even realizing it.

I've never heard of him. And that line is far from even being one of the best from the song.
In fact, a few days ago while debating what to cut from the song for a radio edit, I said on Pulse "The last verse is definitely cuttable, and perhaps And I know it's long gone, and there was nothing else I could do/And I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to." Even more cuttable now.
And since the last verse is cuttable because it's just repeating earlier lines, I guess I thought the least well-written verse on the song is the one with his line. She should've been like, "Hey, this isn't as much of a masterpiece as the rest of the song. What's wrong with it? Ohh...I heard it once from a less-talented writer, right."
