For me, i'd just abolish these month's because it causes nothing but a disassociation. It's the jobs of parents and teachers, especially black parents, to teach their children the history of colonialism and how slavery came into effect.

It's as if a lifetime of history and culture is crammed into a few short weeks, never to be mentioned or heard of the rest of the year. As if BHM is the rather "slower functioning" child you cringe to take outside etc.

AN no...not the black history from the textbooks but the one that goes beyond MLK, Malcom X, and Du Bois

I don't think parents teach kids about any type of history and it is sad

What C. Diaz movies should I watch? So far all I've watched is Bad Teacher/What To Expect When You're Expecting and kinda loved her in both.

I liked "Bad Teacher," I just fast-forwarded through Justin Timberlake's parts. Check out "Vanilla Sky" and "Any Given Sunday" for her more serious roles. Definitely watch "The Sweetest Thing" -- it was a trailblazer for female-driven comedies like "Bridesmaids." Of course watch "Charlie's Angels" and "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," but that goes without saying. Also check out "What Happens In Vegas." It's a little better than "Bad Teacher," because at least Ashton Kutcher actually has some small degree of acting talent as opposed to Justin Timberlake.
