Beyoncé and Ciara drew from the same neutral place, none of the concepts were originally Ciara's nor did she popularize them
Beyoncé's feminist songs and B&W videos existed before Ciara
And Drunk sounds nothing like Body Party nor do they have a similar video
Beyoncé didn't just show in the club in the video she also did their choreography
Ciara also having a video inspired by an already iconic club doesn't take away from what Beyoncé did
Ok? Her doing their routine is another point for her lack of creativity.
And Ciara already doing a similar video there "takes away" the nonsense you brought up that Partition being prime example of her "creative vision".
I think NO gets a bit too much hate. It's really not bad at all. Would I listen to by choice? Not really, but I wouldn't turn it off either if it was getting played on the radio.

Okay let me grab that quote again for you
Quote:
"The day that I got engaged was my husband's birthday and I took him to Crazy Horse. And I remember thinking, 'Damn, these girls are fly.' I just thought it was the ultimate sexy show I've ever seen. And I was like, 'I wish I was up there, I wish I could perform that for my man...' So that's what I did for the video."
