I wish there was a way to actually prove if people were editing their posts in case it's an actual problem in the future, but there doesn't seem to be.

I don't remember who, but a mod once said that they can see original posts even if the 'Last edited' line doesn't appear.

Exactly. You honestly can't blame the people who post spoon after they've already seen someone else post it given how quickly this game is going. When I saw Marvin's spoon, I didn't stop to look for a post by Element because by that time, I could have been close to elimination. So if someone falsely spoons, this mess is going to happen regardless of how many times we're told that we should wait for Element's first post. So something needs to be done to prevent people from posting the first false spoon to begin with.

Then again, it's Element's game and he's done an incredible job hosting it, so I respect any decision he chooses to make.

As I made EXCEPTIONALLY clear in my statement less than 48 hours ago, no spoons count until I post the first one. So if this cast wishes to post spoon twenty thousand times before my post, then so be it. They will not count, and that is the purpose of the updated rule. However, why don't you ALL reflect on if you actually wish to continuously disrespect me as a host and waste MY time in running this game.

But shelven made a very good point. During challenges, people post so quickly and sometimes when my post finally gets through, it lands on a new page or there are even two pages in between that I have no time to go back to and check whether you posted first or someone trolling. So you can't really blame people for following suit and posting without checking whether it's a false alarm or not.
